A Mountain Thanksgiving
My family has a lot to be thankful for this year as we do every year. This year was really special because we were all there together- just the 6 of us! Even though we are lucky enough to live within miles of each other, it is not always easy to get everyone together for dinner or whatnot.

Mom booked us a big condo at the Grand Timber Resort, one of the only two 5 star resorts in Breckenridge. We stayed right off the mountain so we could ski in/ski out- which was really nice!

We skiied on Thursday which was a perfect day to ski since everyone else was at home stuffing their faces with Turkey and such. The conditions were perfect. Approximately 50 degrees, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Most of the mountain was open except the upper bowls and peak 7.

We got home, hit the hot tub, then ate a Thanksgiving feast- everything but the Turkey (I hate turkey anyways). Then as a family we played cards (Gin Rummy) and watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving & Finding Nemo before calling it a night!
